Once upon a time, on a super hot and sunny day, there was a little crow named Sammy. Sammy was flying around, and he was so, so thirsty. He looked here and there, up and down, but he couldn't find water anywhere. It seemed like all the water had disappeared!
But then, guess what? Sammy saw a pot under a tree. He thought, "Oh, there might be water in there!" So, he flapped his wings and landed near the pot. When he looked inside, he saw just a tiny bit of water at the bottom.
Sammy tried to drink it, but it was too low for his beak. Oh no, poor Sammy was still thirsty. What could he do? He didn't give up; he was a very clever crow!
Sammy looked around and saw some small, smooth pebbles. He had an idea! He picked up a pebble and dropped it into the pot. Splash! The water level went up a little bit. Sammy was excited and dropped another pebble. Splash again!
He kept dropping pebble after pebble into the pot. Splash, splash, splash! Each pebble made the water level rise, and Sammy clever plan was working. He was making the water go higher and higher.
Finally, after dropping lots of pebbles, Sammy's plan worked. The water level was high enough for him to take a sip. He drank the water and felt much better. Sammy was one happy crow!
With a full tummy and a big smile, he flapped his wings and flew away into the sunny sky, feeling so proud of his clever idea. And that's how Sammy, the clever crow, got a drink of water on a hot, sunny day. The end.
Moral : If there is a will, there is a way.
