Once upon a time, on a scorching hot and sunny day, a little ant was feeling very thirsty. It had been searching for water for a long time when it finally reached a pond. The ant was so eager to drink that it lost its balance and accidentally fell into the water. It was struggling to stay afloat, desperately trying not to drown.

Unbeknownst to the ant, a kind-hearted dove was perched on a nearby tree, observing everything that was happening. The dove felt a pang of sadness in its heart upon seeing the ant's plight. Without wasting a moment, the dove plucked a leaf from the tree and gently dropped it into the pond near the struggling ant.
The ant, with all its strength, managed to climb onto the leaf and reach the safety of the shore. It was immensely grateful to the dove for its timely help. The ant thanked the dove for its kindness and went on its way, promising to return the favor if the opportunity ever arose.

Time passed, and a few months later, as the ant was heading back to the pond, it noticed a dangerous situation. A wicked hunter had arrived at the pond, armed with a gun and ready to take a shot at the unsuspecting dove perched on a branch of the tree. The dove was completely unaware of the danger that lurked below.
Without hesitation, the little ant bravely climbed onto the hunter's leg and bit him. The hunter yelped in pain and surprise, causing him to miss his target. The loud commotion startled the dove, and it immediately took flight, escaping the hunter's deadly aim.

The grateful dove flew to a safe distance and realized the great danger it had narrowly avoided. It felt indebted to the ant for saving its life. The dove approached the ant and thanked it wholeheartedly for its courageous and selfless act.
The moral of the story is that every good deed we do for others will surely come back to us. Just as the ant had once been helped by the dove, it later had the chance to repay the favor when the dove's life was in peril. So, always remember to be kind and helpful to others, for the kindness you show today may return to you when you need it the most.
And so, in the heart of the forest, the ant and the dove continued their friendship, knowing that their actions had created a bond that would last a lifetime.
