Egg & Cheese Toast Cups

 Here is a delicious Evening Snack Recipe for kids


Ingredients (makes 4 cups) :

  • 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)

  • 4 small eggs

  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

  • Butter (optional)

  • Chopped veggies (optional: tomato, capsicum, onion)


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Flatten the bread slices slightly with a rolling pin and cut off the crusts (optional).

  3. Grease a muffin tray with butter or oil.

  4. Press each bread slice into a muffin cup to make a small cup shape.

  5. Crack one egg into each bread cup (you can lightly beat the egg if your child prefers).

  6. Sprinkle salt, pepper, and cheese on top.

  7. Add finely chopped veggies if using.

  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the egg is cooked and cheese is melted.

  9. Let it cool slightly, then serve warm.
